Beggar An Ode

This poem is dedicated to all the people out there reading this blog who dont believe in themselves and feel that they are inferior to others . My dear friends , unfortunately , you dont believe in yourselves and i hope that when u do finish reading this poem , u may understand that , you can do in this world whatever you want .

In this poem I talk about a beggar who doesnt have hands nor limbs - a state where most of us would lose all hope . However this beggar , doesnt lose heart in himself and goes through the tough times in his life only to be revered by everyone on earth . The poem goes such -:

Beggar

O thou beggar ! Lyin in the street
Be thou none can beat
Without limbs nor sense
may you go to all the benches
Collecting in your hat , penny by penny
Enough so you may live on bread and honey

At first you may have many lows
and to the whole world thou bows
The sun rises and sets for many years
Thence people will know you have no fears
As no gesture nor sound will bother you
Nor will thy bother on the absence of a sou

From pity to mercy and then respect
This is what from people you will get
Mighty Kings seeing you will be awed
As they would be on seeing God
Alas! there comes the time for the world to mourn
A man, who in the dictionary 'an urchin' would be known .
